Referrals Terms & Conditions

Acceptance

An active web site or blog is required for acceptance into the Referrals Programme. It's at Mighty Ape's sole discretion what constitutes an active web site or blog and what sites are accepted into the Referrals Programme.

Individuals without a web site or blog are not permitted to join the Referrals Programme. Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and Bebo pages do not qualify for entry into the Referrals Programme.

Commission

Every order that is generated by a customer on Mighty Ape as a result of clicking a link containing your referral code is recorded as a referral from you and 5% of the order value (excluding delivery charges) will be issued to your Mighty Ape account.

The credit will be issued to your account when the order ships from Mighty Ape. Account credit earned through the Referrals Programme can be withdrawn to your bank account.

Excluded items

Some very low margin items are excluded from earning commission through the Referral Programme. If you're logged into your account, these items are clearly marked at the top of the product page.

Your relationship with Mighty Ape

While we encourage you to refer to yourself as a “Mighty Ape customer” or a “Mighty Ape Referrer” you may not identify yourself in any context which implies that you work for or with Mighty Ape or are associated with Mighty Ape in any other way.

Tracking links and assets

Various links, buttons and graphics are provided. You will use each of these assets only in their intended manner and will not modify or alter them in any way.

Reviewing of Referrers

Mighty Ape may occasionally review the activity of Mighty Ape Referrals to ensure that Referrers meet the terms of this agreement. In the event of a Mighty Ape Referrer violating the terms of this agreement, the Referral member may be contacted by email and informed of the issue. If this issue is not dealt with in a timely manner, Mighty Ape reserves the right to terminate their account. No credit will be owed by Mighty Ape to the Referral member in the event of such a termination.

Terms of this agreement

The term of this Agreement will begin upon your acceptance into the Mighty Ape Referral Programme, and will end when terminated by either party by form of email notice. Credit is only payable on active memberships which are created during the term.

Mighty Ape reserves the right to disable referrers that we believe to be fraudulent. Additionally, Mighty Ape reserves the right to reverse credit paid in the event of suspected fraudulent activity.

Alteration of this agreement

Mighty Ape reserves the right to alter these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be announced to Referral members.
