If you listen to this album and her 2nd album you can definitely hear the difference already in her music. This is more innocent and refreshing than her 2nd album but that is not to say just as wonderful and a delight to listen to

Absolutely thrilled to get this CD. Adele is so talented and has an amazing voice. I'm thrilled to add this cd to my collection.
Really really like this. I only brought it because it was on sale. I had not really listened to her before, but really like her style. I am now wanting to get her 21 CD (waiting for another sale…). This girl is very talented. Her lyrics are amazing and how she uses her voice as another instrument adds to the beautiful melodies. Highly recommended. Loved it. My fav song is Chasing pavements. Just listened to it again and what I like about it is that the whole album is really focused around her talent of her writing abilities and her voice, the instruments are minimal and only add to the songs – but it they were not there, her singing ability, that is her voice alone would carry the entire album. Her voice is unique although there are similar singers, but I like to listen to her singing with my eyes closed and enjoy her even more. My fav male singer is Luther Vandross. I listen to him with my eyes closed – he is amazing – and I really like this girl, Adele – even though Luther's and her style are different, if you are talented – it'll shine through. Buy it, you won't be disappointed. I not.

British singer-songwriter Adele received a lot of attention for singles that appeared in 2007, and for her fresh yet seductively familiar blend of soul, blues, jazz, folk, and pop. 19, the artist's full-length debut, makes good on the hype by providing 12 lush tracks that showcase Adele's achingly beautiful voice and her skill at turning a phrase, not to mention startlingly honest songs and smart, carefully balanced arrangements.
Fans of Feist, Norah Jones, and Amy Winehouse should sit up and listen; they'll all find familiar qualities to appreciate in Adele, and some new ones as well.
