On December 17,1903 Orville and Wilbur Wright flew into history. Orville
Wright made the first sustained, controlled powered flight of a heavier than air
aircraft. The 1903 Wright Flyer was flown 120 feet in 12 seconds by Orville
Wright that same day Wilbur Wright flew the same plane 852 feet.
This 1:20 scale balsa airplane model of the 1903 Wright Flyer has been
designed for easy assembly using Guillow's famous step by step building
methods.
