Whether you believe the death before dishonour stuff (which I don't) this is still a good watch. Reeves is typically stone-faced but the storyline is fun, exciting and sometimes gory. CGA is well done. Characters are believable, for a fantasy movie, and complex relationships develop. Worth adding to your martial arts collection.
A historical story with some fantasy. I think I would have enjoyed it with & without the fiction, highly recommended
