I really liked this book, especially the use of New Zealand landscapes and animals. I thought the next page blow up of a part of the previous illustration worked well, as more detail could be seen, and I could enjoy the artist's skill. The twists on the original fables were really appropriate and at times, funny. All in all I would recommend this book to both people interested in a highly skilled art form, and to those interested in how an " ancient" form, fable, can be relevant, and brought up to date
