I Lost My Heart In Heidelberg, how true is the title of this DVD. We were actually in the world-famous grain market in Heidelberg, where this concert was held, only a matter of days before this concert was to be held. Oh how we wished that our tour could have stayed an extra 36 hours.
There is a lot of music on this DVD that has not been recorded before. It was great to listen and see some new material. Great performances by the Platin Tenors, Mirusia Louwerse, Frank Steijn, The Berlin Comedy Harmonizers, to name a few and of cause Andre Rieu and his Johan Strauss Orchestra.
A good 90 minutes viewing.

It was a beautiful concert at the world-famous grain market in Heidelberg. Andre Rieu and his orchestra again managed to draw millions of viewers under the spell of their wonderful melodies.
It's always amazing how the master of the violin manages to penetrate into the hearts and souls of its audience. During this time he spreads so much joy and well-being with a variety of sounds to people of different persuasions.
At the peak and a favorite of Heidelbergers this evening is the Australian singer and soprano Mirusia Louwerse with their interpretation of the theme song "I've lost my heart in Heidelberg. It was a performance by a modern Snow White accompanied by this wonderful orchestra, heart felt without end, and so that one is already looking forward to the next Andre Rieu concert.

Andre Rieu, and his orchestra, along with the other very talented people who appear in his live concerts always give a lighthearted, entertaining and beautiful performance.
If you want something in English don't get this DVD – Andre speaks a mixture of Dutch and German to the audience so there are English subtitles, and the songs are not in English.
If you love classical music, you'll love this DVD.
