The DVD was just as good our night at this concert. The first veiw was spent looking for ourselves there. Lucky for us, we were filmed 4 times!! The DVD is up there with some of Andre's best. Great music, great showmanship, great talent from the regulars in his group, not to mention the Australian Girls Choir, National Boys Choir of Australia, Alan Bond, Dame Edna and Rupert Buesst playing the violin towards the end of the concert.

Description

André Rieu's DVD “Live in Australia”, recorded at his concerts in Melbourne, was the biggest-selling music DVD of 2008.

This year, the scene shifts to Sydney, and rush-released from his October concerts is the star-studded DVD to end all DVDs for Christmas. It features special guests Alan Jones and a hilarious finale featuring Dame Edna Everage.

It also features Mirusia, the Australian singer who managed to stop the show with her magnificent rendition of “Memory”, and The Platin Tenors who joined voices for “La danza” and the evergreen favourite “Come back to Sorrento”. And a certain wild bull…
