Music good but not enough of it too much talking
I was hoping to see more African music
"Disappointed - too many interviews on the music dvd "
With disc 1 being a documentary, I was disappointed at all the interviews and interruptions on disc 2. The items were good but too few. Mimi was wonderful – her song My African Dream is haunting and stirs the emotions.

The Dutch Soccer Team had a dream in South Africa; so did André Rieu.
Team Orange did not quite get to realise their dream, but André Rieu did. After a few promotional visits to the country, he performed a number of concerts accompanied by his entire Johann Strauss Orchestra. The results were astonishing and the enthusiasm of the concert audiences was unprecedented and was at times accompanied by many emotions. The African singer Kimmy Skota and the children of the Bloemfontein choir and the Hout Bay Music project were true local stars who made a great impression on the audience.
My African Dream is a double DVD of Andre's adventures in South Africa, complemented by his complete Johann Strauss Orchestra.

This was an excellent show and the behind the scenes sections reveal just how much work and thought goes into these concerts. The African singer was fantastic and well accepted by the mainly white audience – what a fabulous voice!
