"Exciting in-depth gameplay,but a little repetitive"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Army corps of hell is a great game, with many positives but also with some negatives. GRAPHICS- the color and monster details in the game are great, the stages are good but repetitive, probably not the best looking game around on the Vita but doesn't detract anything from the experience. Also the artwork screens trying to tell the storyline looks pretty cool. SOUND- the heavy metal sets the mood for the game and works very well. Although if you don't like that kind of music you might not like it.The sound effects in the game are also good. GAMEPLAY- It is just amazing in-depth gameplay with a difficulty curve just right to overcome the extremely hard stages at the end, which require constant thought. A wide range of customization to your minons and yourself only enhances the experience. The difficulty of the bosses and stages are well done there is some repetitiveness in the monsters and bosses fought although I only got bothered by this while playing long hours of the game. Playing the game in short bursts I never bothered me. The controls in the game are well done and is accurate just when it comes to auto aiming with your minons might be annoying as the minons might try to scavenge a carcass instead fighting the big huge monster in front of you, although it doesn't happen often it still happens. The game basically only uses traditional controls and does use the touchscreen for items and the back touchscreen for minigames for those items. The touchscreen controls are not out of place and only play a little bit of the game. The game does need some thought to play properly which only makes the game better with the last stages which provide more excitement. STORY- there isn't much story in this game, maybe even a little typical. LASTING APPEAL- I guess after playing through all the stages there isn't much reply value other than getting the trophies some which are difficult and achieving a higher score on the stages like a gold or platnium. Although getting through all the stages is very time consuming in its self. Overall the game is worthwhile to buy if u like this kind of action game and likely would comeback playing it every now and then even if u finished it 100%. 8/10

Strange game, I have not played anything like it. It works as a quick play every now and then but easy to put down.

Is it me or does the cover look like Second Hollow Ichigo- anyway a great little game but repetitive.
