"Great Game = Awesome Book"
4 stars"

For fans of the highly acclaimed video game this is a must read. Based around the life of Ezio the protagonist from Assassins Creed 2 this book gives a new perspective to the enthralling Assassins storyline.

"A true representation..."

A fan of the games, getting the books was the next logical step. An a choice I don't regret making. It follows everything from “Assassins Creed 2” as Ezio faces what he must, to bring down the Templars that brought down his family…

"A really good book"

This book is a great companion to the Assassin's Creed video game series, but also a good read on its own. Some of the editing is sloppy (with spelling and grammatical errors slipping through), and the passage of time isn't captured very accurately in parts, but the story is fantastic. There is also a wealth of true historical information in here, encompassing major events such as the rise of Pope Alexander VI and the Bonfire of the Vanities in Florence. Definitely check it out.

Description

‘I will seek Vengeance upon those who betrayed my family. I am Ezio Auditore da Firenze. I am an Assassin…’

Betrayed by the ruling families of Italy, a young man embarks upon an epic quest for vengeance. To eradicate corruption and restore his family's honour, he will learn the art of the assassins.

Along the way, Ezio will call upon the wisdom of such great minds as Leonardo Da Vinci and Niccolo Machiavelli – knowing that survival is bound to the skills by which he must live.

To his allies, he will become a force for change – fighting for freedom and justice. To his enemies, he will become a threat dedicated to the destruction of the tyrants abusing the people of Italy.

So begins an epic story of power, revenge and conspiracy.
