More than a just an anthology of classics, the Atlantic Soul Legends box set shines new light on more than 200 cult tracks, by releasing them in their original album configuration. The Atlantic Soul Legends compendium also includes several rare, deleted or unreleased albums on CD format for the very first time.

The beautifully packaged set includes 20 CDs in vinyl replica format, using the original vinyl artwork. It includes an extensive 32-page booklet, with liner notes by French journalist and Funk-U magazine editor Christophe Geudin, including interviews with Booker T. Jones, Solomon Burke, Isaac Hayes and Sam Moore.
