This is a brilliant game and if you love hack and slash type games, you MUST get this game! The game-play is brilliant and reviews don't do it justice so I'll make it short and simple.

BUY IT and ENJOY IT!

"Excellent!"

Did you like Devil May Cry? This is similar. Regardless, this game is excellent – I personally wasn't overly fond of DMC, but this really hits the spot.

Great graphics, characters, sound and humour throughout. Long loading times plague the initial release, but a patch allowing installs to the hard drive reduces these.

Action is fast paced and smooth flowing. There are a few weapons – the katana and ice skates make for an awesome melee fighter.

After finishing the game on one difficulty you can start a new game with everything you unlocked at the next difficulty up (Very Easy > Easy etc).

Bosses are epic with timed sequences for finishers. Overall and excellent action game which is well worth a few playthroughs due to the new game +.

"A-Ma-Zing!!!"
5 stars"

This game is great and original. The Charachters, story, graphics, music are great. There is some great humour through out the game as well. The controls are easy to pick up, battles fast and furious and her moves look cool. The bosses are big and mean but still easy enough to handle. The only thing I must say that was a little bit of a let down was that there werent to many other weapons to choose from. Still the out of the ones I unlocked I only used 1 of and that was the claws. Her initial guns are just as useful as of the other weapons if not more. The claws had great power but were more of a close range weapon, so for longer ranged battles I stuck with her inital guns.

Over all Bayonetta was great fun to play and she is sexy as hell ^_^ Buy it

Description

Bayonetta is a cinematic, stylized action game from the famed creative mind of renowned game developer, Hideki Kamiya. The game’s protagonist is a graceful, gun-wielding witch with powers beyond the comprehension of mere mortals. Facing off against countless fantastic enemies in stylish yet action-packed combat, Bayonetta uses outlandish finishing moves to take the action genre to a new level of excellence.

Features:
  • Groundbreaking Gameplay - Bayonetta, the game, is all about action. From the controls to the finishing moves, Bayonetta is positioned to be about pure action gameplay
  • Hair: Her hair serves as the basis of her costume and also her attacks and powers. These manifest in different ways:
    • Wicked Weave attacks - By pulling off the right combos (illustrated by the loading screens), you’ll summon large demon fists and feet to punctuate the combos. Great for fighting bosses and large groups of enemies
    • Torture Attacks - Unleash gruesome devices such as the Iron Maiden, Guillotine and more to finish off enemies and send them to hell by charging your Magic gauge.
    • Climax attacks -To eliminate the upper ranks of her foes, Bayonetta’s hair serves as a magical conduit to summon demonic beasts.
  • Interchangeable weapons
    • Upgradeable weapons -In addition to her four enchanted guns called Scarborough Fair, she can unlock an array of weapons from shotguns, bazookas and fiery claws
    • Enemy weapons - Bayonetta can also battle with a variety of other weapons retrieved from fallen enemies
    • Beast Within - Bayonetta calls upon primal forces, transforming into various beasts (Panthers, etc.) according to the situation.
