This is the third in the Clifton series, and probably the weakest. It seems to me the crisis are more contrived in this book and not as compelling. I still liked it a lot because of the characters and the story telling of Archer. You won't get much out of it unless you read the first two books first, both of which are very good. It tries to recap a bit in this book but it doesn't work and just serves to annoy those who have read the first two.
