My dear chappie or chappess: if you don't buy this you are missing such a feast of Wodehousian humour, which was as true to the original as could be on the screen. We thought it was a spiffing good show, and the acting first rate: how could it not be with such a jolly fine cast- and such delicious popsies! If you don't like it there may be something wrong with your digestion, as there was with the late lamented Empress of Blandings. Maybe a glass of the Dow '09 would help- We are waiting with bated breath for the next series! What ho!

I have played this dvd over and over the same way I have read wodehouse again and again. Timothy Spall, great, true character. Jennifer Saunders (ab fab), Lady constance to the life, Jack Farthing was excellent as Freddie, difficult to play,and all the supporting actors stood out on their own. want Blandings 2 now.
