5 stars "Chilling as ever"

Watching this movie again has reminded me why i hid the VHS, the random scare scenes etc really take you, of course i had the pleasure of introducing Candyman to my partner, after 30mins shed had enough and didnt want to watch the rest as it was too scary. A Classic movie that will never lose its scare factor! Bring on Candyman 2!!

5 stars "Stunning"

With most of the major studios now beginning to release a larger variety of back catalog classics on Bluray finally comes “Candyman”.
This was a big hit on its release and director Benard Rose took Clive Barkers short story and made it into a cult classic.
The Bluray itself is stunning in HD however the only flaw is the audio only comes in HD Master Audio 2 Channel and Im not sure what the studio was thinking when they mixed the audio track as there is no seperation between any of the channels so expect equal volume including speech to come from every speaker in the room, positive points are to this however Tony Todd (Candyman) himself, when he speaks his deep booming voice sounds incredible coming from each speaker at equal volume.
A welcome addition to your Bluray collection if watching horror is the genre of your choice.
