Description
A hip, sci-fi western set 500 years in the future. In the wake of the universal civil war, Firefly centres on the crew of Serenity, a small transport spaceship that doesn't have a planet to call home. Thrust together by necessity, the disparate crew seek adventure and the good life but face constant challenges on the new frontiers, such as avoiding capture by the Alliance and evading death at the hands - and mouths - of the Reavers - human, flesh eating mongrels who live on the fringes of the universe.

well written, great cast & superbly visilised, a western set in space the series follows the crew of a small spaceship called serenity, its dark & brooding cpt while they keep just one step ahead of the law that is the alliance while trying to make an honest buck ( well not so honnest then!!}

If you have never heard of Firefly then you should buy this immediately!
(I am assuming that if you have heard of Firefly, I don't need to tell you to
buy this as it will already be waiting patiently in your cart.)
If you need more convincing, Firefly is a “Space Western” set in the future.
There is action, comedy, romance and even some musical numbers thrown in for
good measure.
The Blue-ray 3-disc set also features some “Special features” including a
“making of” which is riveting watching for fans.
Firefly is captivating watching, I promise you will be hooked!
