5 stars "Definitely worth it!"

We recently purchased of a 46" LCD and PS3 (for Blu-Ray video playback). Was looking for a nice HD video and came across this. I was a bit sceptical at first, but the good reviews convinced me to give this a shot. I am very pleased. The HD quality of this series is amazing. Stunning pictures and suround sound.
You will not be disappointed. Definately worth it!

5 stars "Mind Blowing !"

Truly stunning, I believe this was the first BBC series broadcast in full HD and it caused a sensation in Europe and the US when it was shown. If anyone has just bought a full HD TV then this Bluray set will knock your socks off. When we first viewed the opnening sequences we almost couldn't believe what we were seeing. Imagine flying like a bird through huge rocky outposts and diving down the worlds largest waterfall. Words cannot do this justice you have to see it.

5 stars "Must have in your collection"

Well I got this set from mum for Christmas as a last request of a present and I have to say it ended up being my best present.
This is my first Blue-ray DVD for my new PS3 and LCD and it surpasses anything the shops can show.
From the start you are absorbed into a journey of planet earth and everything in it, a bit like a movie that lasts for 665 minutes !!! much better value than buying 3 DVD's, some of the camera work seems almost impossible and the high res shots will have you looking around the screen like you are looking out a window.
In my view, this is a must have blue-ray to have in your collection (as blue ray is already the winner of the HD war) an awesome set!!!!

5 stars "One amazing documentary"

Seven continents . Five years. A $25 million budget. A total run time of 530 minutes. ‘Planet Earth’ is an undertaking so epic and idealistic in intent that it is called natures Titanic. Film makers spent hours even days attempting to document a single ,indelible moment and the pay off is extraordinary. How some of these sights were even able to be captured by man is mind boggling.
After watching the whole thing, I already want to watch it again.

ALL adults will love this film and find it truly amazing and at a $100 you'll find it suddenly affordable after watching it.
