"Chinese History at its Finest"
A remarkable story based on the true historical events between a once non-unified nation. Cutting edge martial arts for the action fans, and heartfelt romantic story for the ladies. Definitely an all round two-part motion picture that defines the actions of a corrupt dynasty driven by greed, love and the will succeed. Featuring some of Asia's best actors and a touching musical score. Red cliff is a story not to miss
"EPIC"
This is a great film, if you are considering buying “The Battle of Red Cliff” because it is cheaper, do yourself a favour and buy this instead. It is well worthwhile watching the two movie's in full rather than the condensed version. Cinematography is amazing and the action scenes are as good as I have seen

Cinematography is awesome and the special effect unbelievable . Big scale ,big screen a must see if you like Asian Kungfu .

Description
Red Cliff is a visionary epic based on the legendary battle in which a force of fifty thousand men defeated an army of nearly one million. In the final days of the Han Dynasty, shrewd Prime Minister Cao Cao convinces his fickle Emperor the only way to unite China is to declare war on two neighbouring kingdoms. Red Cliff is a beautifully crafted epic, with battle scenes of such scope, style, and detail it puts most Hollywood efforts to shame.
Don’t be put off by the subtitles or 5 hour run-time either. The film is well-paced with many clever and touching moments as it builds towards its climactic end, and does not feel too long at all. It pains me to think what they must have cut for the single disc version, which is a full 140 minutes shorter.
Often on special for $20 – $30, at that range the blu-ray is great value too. So do yourself a favour and watch this movie the way it is meant to be seen!
