If your a fan of the games then this book and the others that follow are for you. The book follows the exact storyline of the original Assassin's Creed game, so any parts you encounter within the game are bound to appear in the books.
However if you HAVE NOT played the video game, then this book will appear possibly mundane and dry due to its lack of imagination.
The size (thickness) of the book is considerably less than I anticipated, so be prepared for a quick and easy read.
