"A necessity"
I can't imagine playing any of the Final Fantasy games without a strategy guide, and this one is only comprehensive and easy to navigate, but beautiful too.
It has two ribbons to mark your place (although four or five would be even better!), and a nifty navigation system that runs unobtrusively down the edge of each page. It stays open easily, and covers everything in minute, but accessible, detail.

Considering how open ended the game is, without this, you will miss out
tidbits on your first playthrough.
In addition, this is the padded hardcover version (no more worries on creasing

Two very useful ribbon bookmarkers attached to the spine of this gigantic bible of awesomeness. Everything you'll ever need to know to ‘FULLY’ complete Final Fantasy 13– 2 game. Obviously, I love the padded cover. But honestly, this really is your 100% complete guide. There really is no stone left un-turned in this book.
It is just beautifully illustrated, easy to navigate through and easy to follow through. A perfect reference if you get stuck and I swear you'd never be able to get 100% completion without it.
