4 stars "'THE' survival reference"

This book covers every aspect of survival: building a shelter, starting a fire, setting traps, edible plants, weapon making, weather guaging, navigation and map reading plus alot more.

If you can not only remember everything writen in this book but also learn it all, i can confidently say that surviving in the wild wouldnt be any more challanging than your current everyday life.

The only thing i can say against this book is that it is not country specific, so if you are wanting to know edible plants in New Zealand for example you will have to source another reference. But if thats all i can say bad about this book…

An interesting fact about this book, is that it is carried in the military by fighter pilots of several nations to use if they found themselves in a survival situation after being shot down.

4 stars "Everything you need to know"

Full of everything you could possibly want to know about survival, clear easy to follow instructions and detailed illustrations. Even though I dont plan on being lost in the jungle or at sea im still finding it a fascinating read.
