The origins of Shephard Book are all answered. Thought you knew Shephard- Not
at all.
With a surprising begining to this lovable chracter of the Firefly universe this
is an excellent read and must have for any fan.

A must have and must read for any Firefly Browncoat! We finally get a look into Shepard's secret past. The moments that defined him and made him who he is.
The characters are still captured in such a way, that it's just like watching another firefly episode. And we get a little mini snippet into the moments before what happened with Shepard in the movie Serenity.
Content-wise it will answer all your unanswered questions. It's well written and is filled with beautiful illustrations that just bring everything to life.
If you're a little ‘skiddish’ into buying this. DONT BE. You won't regret it.
"Great tale finally uncovered"
The Shepherd's Tale is a great prequel to the firefly series. It's a great tale of the life of Shepherd Book before his time on Serenity. A great read and a must for Firefly fans. Another mystery uncovered and well written and illistrated. A great item for any comic book or Firefly fan. 5 star read!!!
