Fabulicious hardcover book with wonderful recipes easy enough for all caliber of chefs.
This book advertises itself as the only book you will ever need for cooking
beef, lamb and pork. I was a bit disappointed in the range of recipes. There
was only one recipe with minced beef and most recipes involve the most expensive
cuts of meat, so not so good for big family cooking, or other very specific and
hard to get ingredients. So it's not a book you can use on the spur of the
moment.
However the recipes do look delicious ( every recipe has its own picture) and
are nicely presented with easy to follow instructions. I have so far only tried
one recipe and that was extremely tasty.
So over all I would not call this an essentials book rather a book for that
fancy dinner party.
Beautiful easy recipes, great photgrahy. Makes you want to cook.
This is a fantastic book for any meat lover. Contains information on different cuts of meat and also traditional preparation methods with helpful (and appetising!) pictures. It also contains great receipes for beef, lamb and pork that no home should be without. Great great gift for both guys and girls.
