Author Biography:

Marnie Anstis and her husband Peter own and run a farm and kiwifruit orchard near the Hukutaia Domain, where the Taketakerau tree still stands, in Bay of Plenty. Taketakerau: The Millennium Tree, is her first book. Patricia Howitt works as a freelance artist and has artworks in collections in New Zealand and abroad.
