Michael Oehley is truly international; born in South Africa, schooled and trained in NZ, and currently working as an emergency doctor in Australia, though he still regards Hamilton, NZ, as home. Michael first invented the world of Å�shēanÅ�s as a child of 7, and later wrote 13 drafts of the story over 6 years while at medical school, finally completing it in his first year as a junior doctor at Waikato Hospital. Michael is currently working on the second book in The 4 Powers trilogy.
