Major Flavours 2011

DJ Sir-Vere celebrates the ten year anniversary of the Major Flavours mix CD series, with the release of MAJOR FLAVOURS 2011. With sales in excess of 250,000 units in New Zealand and Australia over the last decade - Major Flavours is the biggest hip-hop and RnB mix compilation series in Aotearoa history.

Mixed and masterminded by DJ Sir-Vere - and hosted by Young Sid from the award winning group Smashproof - Major Flavours 2011 features an honour roll of the biggest and brightest international and local stars, as well as two tracks exclusive to MAJOR FLAVOURS 2011 - one by international breakout artist Savage of the Deceptikonz, and one from chart topper J. Williams from the Illegal Muzik camp.

The album is a two disc set. The first disc is a non-stop mix of huge hip-hop and RnB hits. The second is a FREE BONUS DISC consisting of 15 New Zealand hip-hop and RnB tracks from artists like Home Brew, Team Dynamite, Dirty Sesh, PHD, Pieter T, and Maitreya featuring Che Fu and King Kapisi.

The release of the album will be supported by a full New Zealand tour, taking in venues from Whangarei to Dunedin, and features Deach from Smashproof on most dates.
