Max Bygraves OBE is an English comedian, singer, actor & variety performer, who appeared on his own TV shows (notably Family Fortunes), sometimes performing comedy sketches between songs.
Bygraves began his career in a show called They’re Out alongside Frankie Howerd, Benny Hill, Jimmy Edwards, Harry Secombe & Spike Milligan; in the early ‘50s his scriptwriter was comedian Eric Sykes; & he appeared at the London Palladium, in Royal Variety Shows & even in New York as a guest of Judy Garland.
Unbeatable Bygraves is a new collection from Hallmark’s renowned Pickwick series, of some of his bestknown & most-loved songs from a career that spans five decades.
Bygraves now lives in Queensland, Australia, with his childhood sweetheart Blossom.
