Some scenery seems to be familiar from previous game, but can live with that, the fact that they spent time continuing MW3 from last game gives it a good feel, love all the extras when finished with main objectives. It's a first person shooter so enjoy what it is, there are hours of extras to keep you occupied, especially if you play solo. No complaints at this end, its a great game.
If you have played all the COD's before you will step straight into this one, with a smile on your face and sweat under your armpits!
The Campaign is not long and a reasonable storyline, but everyone buys this for the Multiplayer. Steam seem to have done the on line game selection better and you are quickly into a server and seamless migration if the Host goes down. My only problem is everyone is better than me!!
If you like sniper's maps you are going to be disappointed, as there is little in the way of high place sniping positions or good fields of fire, but what the heck, I am learning to ‘Run and Gun’. I may become a Run & Gun Camper. They surely don't like people hiding and shooting them in the back <smile>.
The weapon upgrades seem better and more logical than previous COD's.

The one thing you notice about the negative reviews is they all say buy Battlefield 3, aka they are all Battlefield fans trying to pull people away from call of duty. For a few years Call of duty has lead in the big rivalry between the cod and bf players and now after the highly graphics and physics of bf3 the bf fans think they can try and turn the tides by pulling people to bf.
The fact is simple, FOR GOODNESS SAKE BF fans, Call of duty has never been about the extreme graphics, Call of duty is like a REALLY GOOD book series you just cant stop reading. The Storyline in the call of duty games are AMAZING and the tension and thrill of the characters just lifts you out of your chair. Call of duty has always been about the story and involving the player in it and this games does just that, you feel apart of the characters and involved. So if you are up for a really good story YOU get to be involved in with fairly high graphics and physics then BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT, its a fantastic story. So don't listen to the negative reports just because the bf fans think they are better in physics and graphics. Many internet reviews found that the BF3 story was extremely bad.
