Carry On Screaming is the twelfth in the series of Carry On films, featuring Kenneth Williams, Jim Dale, Charles Hawtrey, Joan Sims & Jon Pertwee. A parody of the Hammer horror films and follows a plot vaguely similar to the 1953 film House of Wax.

Corbett, Ladies Who Do), who are investigating the mysterious disappearances of six women from the Hocombe Woods.
With the trail leading them to the Bide-A-Wee Rest Home, what clues can the mad professor Dr Orlando Watt (Kenneth Williams) or his bewitching buxom sister Valeria (Fenella Fielding) provide to the hopeless Detectives? Bung does seem to be having success with Valeria and her very obvious charms – but could her sinister country house hold the key to unspeakable horrors?
