One of New Zealand's most in demand Hip Hop & RnB producers and multi-instrumentalist John Chong Nee releases his sophomore album Chong Nee & Friends and as the title suggests features many of his friends as guests; Pieter T and A.K.A Brown to name a couple!

With production credits over the years with artists such as Che Fu, Dei Hammo (with whom he co- wrote NZ's biggest selling single of 2004 ‘We Gon Ride’), Dave Dobbyn, A.K.A Brown, Deceptikonz and Ben Lummis to name a few. Chong Nee has produced so many #1 hits for other people that it was only natural for him to step out into the limelight with the next level of NZ produced hip hop and soul influenced RnB.

He released his solo debut album Just Getting By on Love in 2006 to critical acclaim; Chong Nee won the 2007 APRA professional development award and best male artist and best Hip Hop artist at the 2007 Pacific Music awards and achieved 6 top 20 NZ airplay chart hits for the album. His unique heritage of Chinese/Samoan/Maori gives his music a truly tasty Pacific flavour.
