Discovered by Frankie Stevens and her famous uncle, Sir Howard Morrison, in her early teens, Lizzie Marvelly was on the road at age 16. Described as a ‘true songbird’ and even, by the Prime Minister himself, as a ‘national treasure’, her musical life has been something of a wild ride: two major international signings, two top-ten albums, two European tours, concerts in Asia and Arabia amongst others, a smash-hit charity single and countless national anthems and tours – in just seven years. Lizzie has become something of an industry veteran at the (not very) grown-up age of 24.
After two successful classical crossover albums, Lizzie undertook a journey of exploration. While travelling the world collaborating with other artists and writers throughout 2013, Lizzie realised that it was time for her to finally write and sing the music truly in her heart. Kissing classical crossover goodbye, Lizzie is again stepping into the ‘uncharted and unknown’, and taking her first exciting steps as a singer/songwriter.
