Description

There is no force more powerful than the will to live...

127 Hours is the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston’s remarkable adventure to save himself after a fallen boulder crashes on his arm and traps him in an isolated canyon in Utah.

Over the next five days Ralston examines his life and survives the elements to finally discover he has the courage and the wherewithal to extricate himself by any means necessary, scale a 65 foot wall and hike over eight miles before he can be rescued. Throughout his journey, Ralston recalls friends, lovers, family, and the two hikers he met before his accident. Will they be the last two people he ever had the chance to meet…

4 stars "Excellent special features!"

Amazing movie, especially considering that it happened in real life. Very moving and may bring a tear to your eye. It always makes me think, would I have the guts to do what he did if I was in that situation- Let's hope I never have to find out.

5 stars "Loved it"

Brilliant movie, towards the end I got a bit squirmish, but that was to be expected :-)

3 stars "Franco is amazing"

Franco was amazing but I think maybe that most actors would be given this role. Despite this, it is a good story – albeit it that the protagonist in the drama bought it on himself.
