Description
The vampire Angelus, now known as Angel, has a human soul, but committed terrible crimes in the past. "Explore Angels' dark past in this gripping season"
Taking a look at how Angel was sired and the relationship between Angelus and Darla this season provides good insight into Angels crusade against the dark side bringing back some familiar faces from Buffy and filling in some history on the characters.
Angel is pushing those close to him away in an attempt to keep them safe but will it work or will his choices result in him losing everything?
A hard to put aside season if ever there was one.

"Angel's rollercoaster ride continues"
The spin-off from Buffy the Vampire Slayer takes a whole new look on the
‘end-of-the-world’ theme as the story of the Vampire with a Soul tries to
find his path on another roller-coaster ride.
Halfway through Season 1 Doyle heroically sacrificed his life to switch off a
doomsday device which would've decimated any being with human DNA. Before he
died he gave Cordelia Chase his power of ‘sight’. Now its Cordelia with the
painful visions that guide the Angel Investigation team onward.
Angel Investigations is now joined with Gunn, a street wise kid who grew up
slaying Vampires in his neighborhood. After his sister gets turned he continues
to fight the good fight against evil. The ex-Watcher Wesley Wyndham-Price has
joined the ranks as well. But this time the tables have turned for the worse as
Wolfram & Hart have resurrected Darla, Angel's sire. However, things do not
go as planned for either rivals in this cat-and-mouse-game of power.
As Angel struggles to control his humanity, others try to break him. Who will
succeed in the end?
