Description
They depended on each other, and the world depended on them...
Based on Stephen E. Ambrose's non-fiction best seller, Band Of Brothers tells the story of Easy Company, 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army. Starting with their rigorous training in Georgia in 1942, it recounts the achievements of the elite Rifle Company from D-Day to the fall of Nazi Germany and the surrender. Drawn from hours of interviews with survivors, as well as soldiers' journals and letters, Band Of Brothers chronicles a unit that took 150% casualties and whose lives became legend.

By far the most engaging, horrific, exciting and realistic cinematic war experience ever brought to the TV.
You follow an elite young group of men from their first days of army training through to the most hellish war time stories of the invasion, D-Day. As you follow these young men you really get to know the soldiers, where they come from, who they are and what they stand for, and begin to understand the sacrifices and suffering they went through during WWII.
Each episode focuses on a different engagement as they travel throughout Europe as the campaign against the Nazis begins and ends.
The series also includes snippets of interviews of the actual soldiers that these characters are based on, real men, real men who fought, suffered and watched as their fellow brothers heroically gave their lives for the cause and the guy in the fox hole next to them.
I have watched this series numerous times and am never disappointed, its action packed with a gripping drama story, intense fire fights and characters you can really relate to.
Worth every cent!
