I love this series. The characters are interesting and the issues raised are thought provoking. Moral issues, politics and what it means to be human.
When I first watched the stand alone complex movies I never in my wildest dreams would have thought the series would be made available to us. Involving the individual eleven case this series has so many points and details that were cut in making the film that add so much to the story, not to mention the bonus episodes as well. Very VERY worth owning for any Ghost in the shell fan.

Who are the Individual 11?
The year is 2030. Six months passed since the Laughing Man Incident. About 3 million refugees are now living in Japan, invited to fill the labour shortage. However, the emergent presence of the invited-refugees intensified their confrontation with the “Individualists”, who called for national isolation, which has led to an increase in terrorist attacks carried out by a group known only as the Individual Eleven.
