"Amazing"
This movie is my definition of perfect. It balances everything perfectly from a brilliant cast, amazing cinematography, a damn near heartbreaking story, brutal fighting and war scenes to a just sheer awe inspiring ending. The story is one of my favourites and probably one of the best I've ever heard (seen?). It is raw awesomeness in its most awesome form. Seriously. Russell Crowe plays his role brilliantly as do all the actors in this movie.
The tale is rife with betrayal, murder, vengeance, and much much more. The fight scenes are great and visceral, especially the one at the beginning. Everything about this movie is great. If you're a fan of action/awesome plot/heartbreaking movies, than seriously get this.

"Brilliant"
Gladiator is by far the most moving and cinematic movie I've seen based in ancient times. It combines stunning story telling, fantastic special effects, damn cool looking battles xD and a tragic hero to top it all off. The acting is superb as is the script and each event just ties perfectly with the next, leading it to the final stunning conclusion.
A perfect action blockbuster with a brilliantly told unfolding story.
