FBI profiler Will Graham (Edward Norton) is ushered out of retirement by boss Jack Crawford (Harvey Keitel) to help catch serial killer The Tooth Fairy (Ralph Fiennes), who targets families each lunar cycle. Hannibal:
After having successfully eluded the authorities for years, Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) peacefully lives in Italy in disguise as an art scholar. Trouble strikes again when he is discovered leaving yet another body in his wake. He returns back to his homeland of America to once again make contact with now disgraced Agent Clarice Starling (Julianne Moore) who is suffering the wrath of a malicious FBI official/rival, Paul Krendler (Ray Liotta) as well as the media. Meanwhile, Hannibal must survive the advances by a disfigured and vengeful victim he first came in contact with years ago as a patient, Mason verger (Gary Oldman). He also finds himself being tracked down by the authorities as well as vengeful relations of his previous victims.
