"DAD LOVED IT"
Excellent movie been looking for it in shops for about a year and find it on mighty ape GO THE MIGHTY APE BEST ONLINE STORE AROUND
"The ultimate Aussie romance"
No one can spin a yarn quite like an Aussie! Over the years, their stories have become more sophisticated and ‘gritty’, and I admit to loving them all! But my love affair with Australian cinema started with this movie. As a child, standard 4 at Waka Aranga Primary School, my mother took me to see this at the movies – and I developed my first crush – Tom Burlinson. This movie is everything that makes a great story – a forbidden love, beautiful scenery, good guys, bad guys, a desperate rescue – and an uncertain ending. I know there are more modern, more graphically affected movies these days, but they don't come near the story-telling of this. It's a great movie for the romantic heart.
