"pure amazing classic childhood movie"
i loved this movie as a kid and the appeal has definitely not worn off through the years. We had this on VHS tape but it was watched so much we had to get the dvd. a timeless classic with a spoonful of sugar :)
"A timeless movie"
The usual fast and friendly service from Mighty Ape brought this classic movie into the lives of my Grandchildren. The way they have been watching it I'll need to replace it soon, as it will wear out.
A delightful movie full of music, colour, love and life-lessons, it is a must-see for all ages. I loved watching it again after so many years, and enjoyed singing along
"An excellent family classic"
This film was enjoyed by the entire family but particularly the young ones. A truly wonderful musical. We highly recommend it as excellent G entertainment.

Even at 2 hours and 20 minutes, Disney's pioneering mixture of live action and animation (based on the books by P.L. Travers) still holds kids spellbound. Julie Andrews won an Oscar as the world's most magically idealized nanny ("practically perfect in every way," and complete with lighter-than-air umbrella), and Dick Van Dyke is her clownishly charming beau, Bert the chimney sweep.
