Review by Daniel on 23rd February, 2012
1 stars "Utter crap, not linked to the 1st masterpiece, made for tv."

WHAT A SHOCKER! The first movie is BRILLIANT – great idea, great effects, good acting. So, based on the first movie, ‘The Cell’, I bought, ‘The Cell 2’. What I watched was 2 hours of made for tv plot with absolutely nothing to do with the first movie (except a brief reference at the start) – the entire alternate reality-idea is the main character seeing the killer's memories. In the first movie, the main character was a scientist, not a psychic – WTF- This is a shocker – buy it only if,

  1. You need to complete every series you own and you own part 1
  2. You want to see that guy from ‘Pulp Fiction’ who was in the ‘Royale with cheese’ scene spoken by Samuel L Jackson before Jackson shoots him with a religious reference “And I will strike down upon thee with fuu-rious vengeance..”
  3. You make movies and want a confidence boost (what you make will be better)
