Description
Clarkson, Hammond and May travel to Vietnam and travel the entire length of the country in just eight days, achieving what the American military failed to do in ten years!
First they must buy suitable transport for the trip. Despite having several million Dong in their pockets, this is less money than they thought especially in one of the most expensive car markets in the world. Nonetheless, the boys are resourceful and, with the wheels eventually sorted, they set off on one of the most spectacular and incredible road trips Top Gear has ever attempted.
This 90 minute episode attracted over 1 million viewers when it aired on SBS.

"I love this!"
This special episode has to be one of my favourite episodes of Top Gear ever made if not number 1. The show includes amazing shots of Vietnam and their lifestyle as they attempt to ride across Vietnam with terrible scooters and home-made helmets . But the best part is that Jeremy gets up to his usual jokes. If you haven't seen this get it!

The trio who do what is considered the funniest motoring show in the world do not dissapoint in this vietnam special

It's true – tv viewing just doesn't get any better than this. Not merely
good, this is the best Top Gear film of them all, no mean feat considering the
typical high TG standard.
The combo of the silly little bikes, the stunning scenery, and 3 of the
funniest blokes on telly = pure friggin gold. Is there a better way to spend
$30– I doubt it.

It's true – tv viewing just doesn't get any better than this. Not merely
good, this is the best Top Gear film of them all, no mean feat considering the

"An entertaining and funny ride"
Although I'm not a huge Top Gear fan and my knowledge of motor vehicles is less than poor, the Vietnam special was a very, very, very good show!
I've lost count of how many times I have already watched the DVD after buying it from Mighty Ape and I must admit, it made me buy the plane ticket to Vietnam to do exactly what they did.
You will find yourself laughing aloud, admiring the scenery and cringing at
the symbolic Americana bike tailing the trio while blaring out “Born in the
USA”!
Great for the entire family!
