Description
Decca releases this very special all-star pop and classical concert to mark the first anniversary of Pavarotti's death. Performed against the stunning backdrop of the ancient city of Petra in the Jordanian desert, this is THE official memorial concert, organised and supported by Pavarotti's widow.
Fabulous guest line-up includes Andrea Bocelli, Sting, Placido Domingo, Angela Gheorghiu, Zucchero,
José Carreras and Jovanotti, with the Prague Philharmonia conducted by Eugene Kohn.
Pavarotti had a special relationship with the Queen of Jordan and always wanted to perform there. Unfortunately he never got to do this during his lifetime, so holding the Memorial Concert at Petra seemed only fitting.

"A fantastic tribute to a fantastic artist."
This tribute to Pavarotti is great, some great artists performing in this tribute to a great man.
We have watched this DVD at least 10 times and we have only had it 3–4 days!!! I would recommend this Tribute to everyone who likes Pavarotti. It is well worth the cost.
There is great music and moving tributes paid to this great man during the concert and memorial service.
