Awesome adaptation of the comicbook hero :)

Got this triple play on a special deal and I'm glad I bought it. The movie in blu-ray is just awesome. The effects are cool and the story line is not so bad either. As a whole it's entertaining. Looking forward to the sequel.
"An OK superhero movie"
Nowadays, all movies are being converted to 3D. This reduces the quality of the story and increases the cheesiness of the 3D. The movie was not shot with 3D cameras (like Avatar or Prometheus). I wouldn't recommend the 3D version of Thor. However, Thor was far better than Captain America. Thor is a good introductory movie. It is a great for those not familiar with the character as well (like myself). Overall, this was well done but I suggest watching the normal version rather than 3D first.

Description
Thor is a powerful but arrogant warrior from another world whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. He is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment.
