If you were to ask me about the show itself, I'd have no other way to respond than “Yes it is absolutely fantastic”. And it looks bloody good in High Definition too!
However if you were to ask me about THIS Blu-Ray set, well then my friends my response to that would be something like “crap”.
The high price point is my biggest concern about this set. I'm sorry Mighty Ape but I cannot believe that you and other retailers expect us as consumers to believe that this set along with S6 and S7 are worth the $89 price tag. If it was a show with a high episode count then maybe I'd accept the high(er) price.
I'd almost be inclined to say to my fellow consumers to wait for a price drop but that is very unlikely to happen outside of sales. So unfortunately we have to put up with a second rate product that almost ruins a fun and joyful show. What a pity.
This series is awesome, introducing Matt Smith and Amy Pond! This was a great series and this box set is great for any Doctor Who fanatic!
