$50 is a LOT to pay for a very small piece of plastic BUT it would be worth it if the gadget lived up to the hype. It's certainly amusing screeching ‘exterminate’ whenever it hits an obstacle. Unfortunately – contrary to the claims – it does not cope well with table edges (we tried a couple) and falls off easily. Had a mind to return it but I put so much effort unto unpacking (unfeasibly fiddly) and putting batteries in I couldn't be bothered.

This is a great little collectible. It has a sensor that stops it from falling off the table but watch out for bevelled edges as the dalek will tip off its driving wheels thus stranding itself, notwithstanding this the dalek will also avoid obstacles and every time it turns it says ‘exterminate!’ Fantastic! My partner is a Dr Who fan … He loves his gift … Voice is authentic .. Exactly like show and teh Dalek runs rings around desk … Pretty fast and clever little thing . Love it !!!
