When I first booted up Dragon Ages: Origins ultimate edition, I was amazed by the intro, and knew I had picked the right game for my needs. A deep storyline, intertwining each character to yours, all based on how you chose to grow up at the beginning, during character creation. Having played roughly 18 to 25 hours now, I can easily say that the time I have invested into the game certainly shows, and being able to choose new skills or abilities every level keeps the game going, making you want to play more and more. The downloadable content also all came on the second disc, and allowed a deeper look into mentioned lore during the main storyline. It also gave access to some great locations and a new playable teammate, ‘Shale’ the golem.
Overall, a great storyline that keeps you immersed, along with easy to learn gameplay that gives you that boost that you need to feel confident in the world of Dragon Ages.
