I loved it I watched every one of them, and loved them all even after, I got defenders of berk, and the hidden world, which I got from another store.

But nonetheless they are amazing I am so happy, to have them in my possession, and can’t wait to buy more stuff off mighty ape.

Description

When it comes to action and excitement the sky’s the limit in this high-flying animated adventure based on the Academy Award-nominated hit movie How to Train Your Dragon.

Following directly after the events of How To Train Your Dragon, Riders of Berk follows Hiccup as he tries to keep balance within the new cohabitation of Dragons and Vikings. Alongside keeping up with Berk’s newest installment – A Dragon Training Academy – Hiccup, Toothless, and the rest of the Viking Teens are put to the test when they are faced with new worlds harsher than Berk, new dragons that can’t all be trained, and new enemies who are looking for every reason to destroy the harmony between Vikings and Dragons all together.

Episodes include on Part 1 are “How to Start a Dragon Academy”, “Viking For Hire”, “Animal House”, “The Terrible Twos”, “In Dragons We Trust”, “Alvin and the Outcasts”, “How to Pick Your Dragon”, “Portrait of Hiccup as a Buff Young Man”, “Dragon Flower”, “Heather Report Part I”, and “Heather Report Part II”.

Dragons: Riders Of Berk Reviews

“Who doesn’t love “How to Train Your Dragon”? It is easily one of Dreamworks best animated features to date. So when I heard that they were making an animated series, I was really excited. Even more so that it actually contains original voice talent from the film including Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Zack Pearlman, and more. Fox is releasing the first 20 episodes of this exciting and fun show which aired in its first season in a two part DVD set. This show holds the same charm that the animated film has, including action, heart and humor. So if you love the film, then you need to immediately watch this show for sure.” MediaMikes.com

“..The first thing which must be mentioned about Dragons: Riders of Berk is that the show was able to retain most of its original voice cast, which is unusual for a TV show. Save for Jonah Hill (Snotlout) and Kristen Wiig (Ruffnut), the other four members of the main group came back. Now, I know that Baruchel, Ferrera, Miller, and Mintz-Plasse aren't exactly burning up the red carpet, but these are known actors, so it's cool (and most likely in a contract somewhere) that they would do this show. As for the show itself, it does a good job of maintaining the spirit of the original movie. While the emphasis here is more on fun than on familial drama, the stories still manage to sneak in plenty of moments where Hiccup must prove himself. Some of the plotlines presented here are a bit "sitcommy”, but there are some funny moments, and the character design of the dragons remains cool. (And I will always admire this series for opting to not have the dragons talk.) The animation isn't feature film quality, but it's still pretty good, although it does lack in overall detail at times. Thus, fans of the original movie will certainly find something to like here and the show is certainly above par when it comes to modern kids programming." DVD Sleuth

“This engaging series is a worthy successor to DreamWorks' well-received How to Train Your Dragon, and it's every bit as enjoyable on the small screen…If you're used to seeing Toothless, Hiccup, and the rest of the cast in the movie's impressive 3-D format, then Dragons: Riders of Berk's flat animation might be a bit of a letdown, but happily the quality writing and lovely Nordic scenery will more than compensate. Plus, the promise of new characters – both human and dragon – should be enough to maintain kids' interest. As with the movie, it's worth taking a look first if your little kids are sensitive to scary creatures or perilous scenes, but for older kids, this is a terrific series centered on an unlikely hero who makes a name for himself by daring to be different.” 4/5 Common Sense Media, recommended age 7+
