1 stars "Possibly the worst game of 2011"

I have played some crap games in my life, but this takes the cake.

Terrible out dated graphics, it looks like a game that was released 5+ years ago. Terrible levels and some with hardly any shooting at all. There are poor attempts at trying to make the game funny.
To top it off it's just …boring!

This game doesn't even fit in to the stock standard shooter catagory, this game is in a league of its own, it's possibly the worst game of 2011.

Don't buy it thinking it's something you need to experience just because it's Duke… it is just not worth your time, go back and play Duke3D again, it's much much better.

4 stars "Hes back, But not as expected"

Duke nuken forever is hard to sum up as it means different things to different people.

For some like me, I have been waiting for it to arrive for many years and have eagerly been awaiting the game to hit stores for many years.

While Duke is back, is it how we remember him-

Sort of. While this game brings back the classic humour you loved its brought some baggage.

While the charcter of duke nukem remains the same his abilities have changed, No longer can duke run 60ks an hour sideways strafing bad guys while holding enough guns to level most of the known universve.

Now we have a duke than cant sprint and shoot at the same time and runs out of breath rather quickly. And sadly the duke can only hold two guns at a time.

At first I hated these changes but after time I realised I still hate them. Duke feels watered down compared to what he used to be. With such limited weapons choices you find you often ditch and never use weapons since the shotgun/railgun combo will never fail you..... Untill you fight one of the giant bosses you will face. Luckily the game will always provide an RPG or Devestator for you at these points.

If you remeber duke as he was and ready to forgive some faults I say try before you buy. While there are flaws here I will say I enjoyed the game alot and will be playing it for a while.

Even though this isnt a perfect game, its still a fun game. Its not trying to be anything else but brainless throw a turd at npcs fun and I love it.

Just take my advice and dont go into it thinking its the be all end all game people have been hyping it to be for over the past 10 years.

Leave your brain at the door and go kill some alien scum.. And remember to ALWAYS bet on Duke.

PS. The balls of steel extras are fantastic and woth the extra price. The bust is a little on the small size but still awesome and the rest are nice little extras too.
