Author Biography

Fletcher Rhoden is an acclaimed playwright (Soul Cancer, Last Tango with Marlon, Redhead Cuban Hausfrau Husband, all on DVD) and writer of historical fiction (Last Tango with Marlon, The Trial of Davy Crockett) whose work has been called, "Thoughtful yet riveting from the first page to the last... a must read and not to be missed... incredibly believable dialogue... another fantastic night of L.A. theater... bravissimo!" and much more by press across the United States. Rhoden has also written four novels (Freedom Hall), written and illustrated four books for children (Imagine Nathan on Supermarket Safari), an all-digital graphic novel (The Rebels of Oz) and a new novel for middle readers (Santa & Me). The Los Angeles native is also a popular lecturer (Fifty Shades of Trailer Park Boys: An Evening with Fletcher Rhoden, Write Makes Might: Stronger Structure in Storytelling), solo-exhibition painter and muralist (Fletcher Rhoden Sleeps with the Fishes, 2007), produced film writer (Stump the Band, Boathouse Studios, 2007), creator of animated short subjects (Spike & Mike's Sick & Twisted Festival of Animation), accomplished musician and composer of over 500 songs with several music CDs & DVDs available online.
