"Too good to be true"
5 stars"

Gran Turismo PSP will probably be out now when you read this, but it is absolutley brilliant, 800 cars with over 60 track variations. This long awaited game runs at a stunning, super smooth 60 frames per second, which means the game never stops during gameplay wich is also called lag, Lamborghini and Ferrari finally come to the series after over 10 years ever since Gran Turismo 1 on the original Playstation, now play Gran Turismo anywhere

A definate MUST BUY for a fan or a newcomer

"Easiest GT ever"
5 stars"

Got this game Gran Turismo with my new PSP Slim as a ‘GT Bundle’. As I still have an old PSP as well I'm thinking of buying a second one as well for my old Dad (71yo) who enjoys playing these games as well. He's an old gamer at heart, but he really likes GT the best and so do I.

When I bought my first Playstation I bought a GT game with it. Kept up with all the GTs over the years as the game engine progressed and became more realistic. However, as tptb kept developing the game it also became more difficult to search through the menus or to win big money because certain licenses weren't obtained.

Not so for the PSP GT. Its obvious to teach yourself how to drive more effectively. The response on these cars in acceleration, performance and handling is so realistic, I feel I'm driving the real car.

All the tracks are open, you also have a choice which direction you want to race. You can choose for same car as you drive races or race against other manufacturers. There are many cars to choose from, but every couple of days you can choose only from four dealerships at a time.

You can race from 1 lap to a maximum of 99 laps. The more laps you do the bigger the price pack.

You'll quickly find out there are some cars that are good on one track, then lousy on another. e.g. '85 Peugeot 205 Turbo is excellent on Dirt & Snow. Lapped 5 laps on the competition because the car is so good at drifting. e.g.2 the classic '82 Audi Quattro is an all rounder as a 4wd. Quicker than the Evo and can make tighter turns.

I'm currently racing with a ‘New Beetle’ 4×4 Turbo that just blows the competition away. Its a lot of fun experimenting with old and new cars.

In your garage you can choose up to 30 Favorites. And as the game progresses you do change faves often.

Currently find only one snag with the game. If there's a car you don't like, you can't sell it or trade it in. So choose very carefully before purchasing your next car in the game… you could be stuck with it for ever.

Overall, this is the easiest GT I've ever played.
